In my vision as the International Grand Epistoleus, I will focus on Unlocking Greater. My priority will be to preserve the rich legacy of our organization.
First, I pledge to prioritize the commemoration of our founders' birthdays. Dorothy Hanley Whiteside, Mary Lou Allison Gardner Little, Vivian Irene White Marbury, Nannie Mae Gahn Johnson, and Hattie Mae Annette Dulin Redford, Cubena McClure and Bessie Mae Downey Rhoades Martin are the trailblazers who laid the foundation for Sigma Gamma Rho. To honor their legacy, I propose hosting special events and activities on their respective birthdays, recalling their contributions and reaffirming our commitment to their vision.
I plan to utilize our history committee to engage our membership in regular interactive opportunities such as games, contests, and videos while diligently working on the finalization of Volume 3 of our history and making Volume 1 readily accessible to all members.
As part of my plan, I aim to create a comprehensive chapter history database that will be included on our website. This initiative will allow us to preserve and showcase the rich legacy of our sorority, ensuring that every member feels connected to our shared history.
Furthermore, I am eager to collaborate with the Editor in Chief of the Aurora, our esteemed publication. Together, we can develop a virtual experience that replicates the enriching atmosphere of our highly acclaimed 2021 Special Boule. This virtual experience will enable us to reach a wider audience and provide a platform for engaging discussions, informative workshops, and empowering presentations.
As we venture forward, my focus will be on empowering each and every Soror and Affiliate. Together, we will forge a path towards success by harnessing the power of effective branding. To achieve this, I will collaborate closely with regional Epistolei to craft comprehensive branding guidelines for Sorors and our esteemed affiliates. These guidelines will serve as a beacon, ensuring uniformity and cohesiveness in our messaging. Let's not stop there. Robust training sessions will be conducted to ensure that every Epistoleus understands the branding guidelines inside out and knows how to implement them effectively. These trainings will enlighten and empower us to reach new heights of success.
Furthermore, I will spearhead the creation of a sorority-wide template toolkit, readily available on our international website. This toolkit will equip all chapters, regardless of size, with the necessary resources to amplify our collective message. It will level the playing field and enable every chapter to shine brightly.
Regular Epistoleus Bootcamps will be organized to cover a wide range of relevant topics. From marketing your chapter and exploring partnership opportunities, to understanding social media analytics, I will leave no stone unturned in equipping you with the knowledge and tools needed to excel. Together, we shall UNLOCK GREATER. Let us embrace this transformative journey towards empowerment and greater impact.
As your next International Grand Epistoleus, one of my primary goals is to restore the PR and Marketing responsibilities and oversight to the IGE position. By ensuring that the Public Relations team reports directly to the International Grand Epistoleus, we can create a more streamlined and cohesive brand for our sorority. This move will not only save us money but also strengthen our image and messaging across all platforms.I am committed to effectively planning, executing, and monitoring all initiatives undertaken by the IGE office. By implementing efficient project management practices, we can ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Moreover, fiscal responsibility is crucial to the success of our sorority. As the International Grand Epistoleus, I will prioritize financial stability and transparency. Implementing sound financial practices, adhering to budgets, and exploring cost-saving opportunities will be at the forefront of my agenda.
I am determined to envision the future by mentoring a cohort of undergraduate Epistolei and Rhoers by providing them with the tools they will need to lead, paving their path towards leadership and success.
As members of this esteemed sisterhood, we have a duty to support and guide the next generation. Through mentorship, we can equip them with the tools they need to lead effectively in their chosen fields. By imparting valuable knowledge and wisdom, we ensure a seamless continuity within our beloved sisterhood.
Another way that we can empower our undergraduates and Rhoers is through the development of comprehensive branding kits. These kits will equip them with everything they need to make a lasting impression at any event or gathering. From eye-catching display table setups to striking templates for retractable banners, and even stylish tablecloth design templates, we will ensure that our sisterhood maintains a strong, cohesive brand identity. My goal is to get these items into the Sigma Store so that chapters can purchase these items directly from the sorority.
By investing in our undergraduates and arming them with these resources, we are not only enhancing their individual leadership abilities but also bolstering the collective power of our sisterhood. Together, we will rise, leave a lasting impact, and shape a future characterized by strength, unity, and unwavering determination.
