Having an educator in the role of Epistoleus is essential because educators believe in the importance of the teaching model. They understand the significance of being respected by their peers, continuously learning, being approachable, and utilizing teamwork to enhance educational practices. Great teachers possess the ability to create a strong culture within any organization. They excel at building systems, structures, and norms that inspire colleagues, attract talent, foster community, and drive towards a collective mission.
Effective communication is crucial for both educators and elected officers. Teachers must effectively communicate with their students, while elected officers must engage with Sorors, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed. Listening well and accepting feedback are essential skills for supporting those in their care.
Working in education means collaborating with others and being open to learning from different perspectives. Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning are key qualities for both roles.
